In the early stages of every relationship, it is all sweet and rosy. Most of us believe that we’ve found ‘the one’. Sadly, we later discover they weren’t the one, but rather just one.
However, it can be hard to see sometimes. This occurs especially when you’ve been together for a long time.
This raises the question; how can you spot the signs you need to end it?
Your partner always blames you
Clinical professional counsellor Julienne Derichs, says “You are in a dead-end relationship if your boyfriend or girlfriend doesn’t want to work through conflicts with you and blames you for the all problems in your relationship.”
The only way for a relationship to evolve is by working through your problems together, and both people need to be willing to do that.
It doesn’t look like it’s going to get better
Arguments and bad patches are a normal part of being in a relationship. There is rarely any couple that’s happy all the time. However, if you can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel, it’s probably time to move on.
