This year, we are concentrating on low calorie desserts. In case your new year resolution is to stay healthy this year, this recipe is perfect for you. Chin up guys, it’s spiced apples.

Here is what you need;

8 Granny Smith apples

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon red hot candies

Here is what you should do with what you have.

First things first, peel, core, and slice your apples. Next, place all your ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl.  The next step involves you microwaving on high for about 15 minutes. Don’t forget to stir each 5 minutes.
Cover with plastic wrap and let cool. Serve warm, and enjoy.
